Website
We work to ensure that the course information on the UCA website is as accurate as possible. However, this website is not intended to form part of the contract between the University and its students.
The latest published version of the course information is available within the Course Information Documents that are accessible from the relevant course webpages.
UCA will aim to provide the course as described in the prospectus and on the website. Sometimes changes to course content, delivery or assessment may be needed to ensure compliance with external accreditations or review bodies, but changes are also made to enhance your course and respond to developments in subjects, industry and the sector. These changes are made to ensure UCA delivers the best possible educational quality to its students.
UCA will communicate with affected students when changes are made, including your rights under the Student Protection Plan.
Course and module changes
Students are part of the process for considering changes to modules. Changes could be triggered by a number of reasons such as developments in the subject area, changes to reflect student feedback, changes to the teaching staff, and external requirements from regulators or accreditors.
Validation and revalidation
We have a thorough internal approval process, which aims to design courses that offer a high-quality experience for students. Validation is the approval process that new courses go through. All UCA courses go through a regular revalidation to ensure they remain relevant and up-to-date within the discipline and industry. Course changes are implemented through revalidation.
